As President of the esteemed Gary/Northwest Indiana Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, I am immensely honored to serve an organization with such a profound legacy of nurturing and empowering our youth. Since its inception in 1938 in Philadelphia, PA, Jack and Jill of America has been a beacon of hope, guiding children through educational, cultural, civic, health, recreational, philanthropic giving and social programming.

 

We, the 19th chapter of the organization, and the 3rd in the Midwestern Region, stand tall, celebrating 75 years of unparalleled commitment to shaping the future leaders of our community. Our mission is deeply rooted in fostering an environment where children ages 2-19 can thrive, gaining confidence, cultural awareness, and leadership skills, all while cultivating a positive self-identity.

 

It's with a caring heart and an unwavering commitment that I express our chapter's aspirations. We strive to leverage our collective political, economic, and social influence to enact the change we desire in the world.
